In conjunction with the Design department, Queens College has developed a winter advertising paid internship program that helps to place current Design majors and minors in prominent advertising agencies in New York City to receive hands-on experience in the design industry and further prepare students for the workforce. The Arts and Humanities Division houses the Design Program, which offers a BS in Design with a Concentration in Communication Design (Graphic Design), Interaction Design, or Animation and Illustration. The school offers 69 undergraduate programs, 62 graduate programs and more than 40 certificate programs across four divisions including Arts and Humanities, Education, Mathematics and the Natural Sciences, and the Social Sciences.
